What's happened to Clook?
Been increasingly frustrated with Clook - a couple of years ago they were one of the best UK hosting companies around.
However, while their support remains top notch, their network and servers have been running sub par.
It's really frustrating because a couple of years ago I recommended some business clients to Clook, and every one of them has either already left, or in the process of leaving, because of poor performance.
Key issues are basically the server being unresponsive for a few minutes constantly at best, with periods of unscheduled downtime, which causes serious problems if you're running an ecommerce site that needs good uptime.
I used to have a dedicated server with Clook at one point as well, but ditched that last Autumn for a server with Liquidweb, because of constant problems with the server going down, or poor network connections.
I see Clook are revamping their site and opening up to new orders again - and as before their customer is second to none - but when are they going to address their network and hardware issues?
