rss sections

Did you mean an rss feed per forum?

I have seen that feature out there, displaying an RSS icon on the top right of each section

While rss makes sense for blogs, I'm not sure it would be much use for a standard web site.

For information sites RSS is a great asset.

That makes sense, too, yes. Something like a newspaper site, or a site intended to keep people updated on something, would definitely be able to make use of RSS. I hadn't thought of information sites.

That's a good point. A content site, info, news, etc would definitely benefit from RSS
