Verizon Fios is it Show or all Blow

They are claiming that the new fios is faster that cable. Has anyone tried it?

As i have posted elsewhere, a few places tried it but didn't have tech staff in place to deal with problems. My friends who tried it left it when there was no tech support to speak of.

The price sounds good. I live in the Dallas area, and they are advertising Digital TV, home phine, and high speed internet for $99.00 a month. On the surface that is a lot better than what I am paying for Satelite, land line, and DSL.

That is a good price. I got a similiar deal with a cell phone instead of a land line. Works better for me.

It is just moving into the New York and New Jersey area. Let's hope it spurs a price war.

I love price wars! I love competition! There was once one lcal internet provider here and one local cable company. They overcharged us and provided rotten service. Then we got a choice.

Now we get to choose who over charges us and treats us like crap.
