I use PayPal but it's not recommended for any type of larger money transaction. The charge back feature has screwed many people on big and small transactions alike.

yeah the charge back fee can be annoying at times, but if you buy or sell most people want to pay by paypal.

PAYpal can be a bit of a pain sometimes but the easiest to use and probably gets the majority of votes

www.paypalsucks.com Every member there hates paypal, and that community is HUGE! No company ever attracts that much hatred if they're customer friendly. I don't see any googlesucks.com but Google DID reserve that domain, maybe they know they suck lol

Paypal doens't have much fee if your using a personal type account. But I guess most of you are using premium or business type account.

Yeah, paypal has a lot of fees, is not very good if you own a paid directory, 'cause the fees can get you without any profit.

papypal is probably the best because as far as I know it was the first its got the most users the most features and if your using it to process payments on your website you havnt got to worry about shelling out for SSL

I think most of the people prefer paypal, but you can even keep one more option open for your customers depending on your location and target market.

I think that the most professional way is by getting a merchant account from your local bank. You have to be a registered company to be able to get one though.

I have heard of the charge back charges but I have been lucky enough to never experience them. Paypal has been good to me.

People complain about PayPal fees, however I guess they've not looked a the fees involved with a merchant account. Until you get high volume it's never goign to be cheap to accept credit cards. PayPal is a good balance of ease of use against fees.

Most of our customers pay by BACS transfer.
