Default Templates

Do you use a downloaded template for your design or did you code it yourself?

Templates are great for beginners to learn what each tag does and how to change settings, but I think at some point everyone should try to code their own website.

I do it myself. I hate to go on the internet and see that someone else has the same layout as me.

That has to be frustrating. I use others templates as guides or inspiration. Sometimes I draw a blank so why not look around and gather some info and ideas from around the web.

I kind of do it on the fly in my head. I do collect templates just to see what's being done. I sure it influences some of my projects.

I use them to learn about the way to do cool things on the templates since I find myself running behind the times if I don't

I think that if you buy a great template online then you can change the colors etc a bit so that you can make it your own. I see no harm with people doing this as long as the template is professionally made.

If you look around everything is just a variation of something else.
