I tried a set up with ads on the left - thought it looked too cramped myself, so now removed the left section and made the forum wide again.

Hopefully much easier to use again.

Ah - much better, I must admit a prefer wide forums than those with sidebars / side navigation...

+1 I am not too keen of the narrow looking forums with ads everywhere.

I don't mind the ads as Brian's didn't go over the top with them (but I appreciate that you need something to help pay the bills

), I just like to use the window width for displaying the messages rather than navigation.

Agree with you, I like wide forums and maximized window while I'm surfing.

I like the way the forum looks like now
