Semi Managed

What does semi managed server means ? Lots of hosts offer semi manages dedicated server , how much level of management do they do in such offers

With any "managed", you need to ask what they actually cover as it seems everyone has a different understanding of "managed". Also, with "management" you get what you pay for and many things are extras.

Ask the host what they cover in their management plan

even fully managed differs from host to host

Usually semi managed is a good place to start, they will make sure your server is up and running!

Yeah the server management differs form host to host and you should clear it before signingup and also check if their are any hidden charges.
