*SALE* - Hosting for £1 per month!

The one thing that has stunned me a little as a member of these forums is how much importance people seem to put on the price of hosting... On quite a number of "other" hosting forums the opposite applies???

Anyway... I have decided to enter the "budget" hosting market and to mark the event I am going to be giving away (well nearly giving away) 10 accounts for only £12 per year! (that's only 1 pound a month folks).

These accounts are basic shared hosting accounts and come with:

• 100mb of Diskspace
• 1Gb / Month of Bandwidth
• 1 SQL Database
• 1 Email Account
• FTP Access
• PHP & CGI scripting
• UK Sever

There are no uptime guarantee's or support time SLA's (support ticket requests will be handled the same day unless there is URGENT problem and then the ticket will be upgraded and replied to quicker, but I cannot give a "1 hour response time" SLA.)

This hosting is ideal for a small Blog, forum or simple website - the server is a Pentium4 HT with 1Gb of RAM so can handle just about anything you can throw at it
I would NOT suggest hosting a business or critical website on this though as like I mentioned above - support is limited.

Normal terms and conditions apply (spammers get banned - no refund, hosting porn gets you banned - no refund that sort of thing)

Only kidding...

The pricing is actually very clever - let me explain...

I have different hosting "brands" that I operate, one of them (you may know it Brian?) sells reseller hosting... The basic plan offers the resources and the ability to host 15 accounts for £15 / Month...

So I thought - 15 accounts for £15 / Month, that's a cost price of.... <insert sound of brain ticking...> £1 per month per domain!

So I am splitting the reseller accounts down to the single domain and setting the price as such - same number of site's on a server for the same money

Obviously I will have 15 clients to support instead of 1 but as I stated at the start of this thread - support is limited and to be honest, once something like Wordpress in installed on a clients account and they are happy with it then the only things that can go wrong will go wrong globally (email down, FTP offline etc etc etc)

I'm just testing the waters with this - if I have got it way wrong then there will be no more £1 / Month offers.
