I use paypal to buy things like hosting and domains too much....Its good and thanks it atleast supports my country...atleast partially and pays Indian users too by cheques but I have not withdrawn till now. But why Paypal treats each country differently...it has different rules for each countries...I think atleast currently supported countries should have full access to all Paypal Features.

If it's not available in your country, then how come you were using it? Are you using an address and bank account from one accredited country?

Paypal is good as long as your in the list of accepted country. E-gold is good for those who can't use paypal. IMO paypal is good since it relatively easy to convert it to cash. Converting E-gold to cash seems a pain to me and it has way more fee than paypal

I use paypal - I'd rather not, their fees on withdrawls below a certain amount, their exchange rates, and their fees on taking card payments, are all excessive in my opinion.

That said, they're the biggest payment processor as far as I know, so theres not much choice really is there?

I both use e-gold and Paypal. I found e-gold easier to convert in our country because I know of a reputable exchanger. As for Paypal, I incur too many charges because I pass through a middleman to get my Paypal funds.

I think Paypal is good especially for freelancers who are looking for an easy way to receive payment for the services they provide.

I have been using paypal for 12 years now. In the next few weeks I will expand to use the Google Checkout at one of my sites just to see if their is a viable positive.

I use paypal but do not particularly care for it. If you use it on ebay you are getting taken from every possible direction! Listing fees, final value fees, payment fees and withdraw fees.
