Default new Software

I seem to get no feedback on my other software questions so I figure I'd go for the ring.

Has anyone tried any new software (anything, whether it be new or just new to you)

Just fiddling with Office 2007 (upgraded from 2003) does this count?

Well the most recent thing I have downloaded is CCcleaner, and I really like it. Prevents me from having to pull up tools, internet options, delete history, all that junk. If you havent tried it out, give it a spin!

As usual, they moved stuff about and confuse the situation - can't find the usual menu options and so on (but they do this with every upgrade Windows or application ), for general use, there's not a lot of difference though. If I was paying specifically for an Office 2003 -> Office 2007 upgrade, then it would (in my opinion) not be worth the fee, but then again if I was paying for an office suite, it would be OpenOffice all the way.

I think we're about as far as we can get with things like word processors and spreadsheets for the average user, with the exception of macros and VBA code, most of the functionality that most people use day by day is not that much different from WordStar or SuperCalc when we all used PC-DOS on our IBM XT's
