Default Ideas for a free account?

One of my hosts has set up a test server and has given out free accounts to members. These accounts will last forever, or as long as they keep it up, I guess. So even if I canceled hosting with them, this account would be free.

I don't want to move any of my current sites there, but perhaps use it for something fun and expiremental. Anyone have any suggestions?

The trouble with "free use" for the supplier, is it usually comes with "free of responsibility" by the supplier.

So, sure, experiment, but bear in mind if you set up something you want to keep, and the supplier decides to ditch the server or else finds it shut down due to security issues or hardware failure, there could be little real motivation to help anyone with their free accounts.

Free isn't always the best with bigger websites/forums. They are very unreliable, well, because they are free and usually the hosts don't care too much about them. Most of the time they come with ads or very small limits.

Hey if you're going to have fun, I suggest a site about the weird stuff you find on the net. That way, you have a place to store all of the links you like to send to people. Use your free site to keep track of things you want to find later and want to share with a lot of folks. That's what I'd do.

I agree with some of the others. You are leaving yourself open for problems that will happen when you need your site the most.
