Had Downtime?

I can honestly say I've never had downtime with my current host (that I know of anyway), I hear horror stories of hosts going down... how often does it happen?

my server has downtime just for sure but only minimal like 2 hours every month is acceptable with me.

My host was down just 2 times in 2 months and downtime was just 30minutes each

My old host was like three weeks with downtime, I'm still leaving it.
