Free email accounts should be a huge no-no if you are in business or want to be taken seriously about anything that you do on the Internet... I personally automatically distrust anyone who contacts me via a gmail or yahoo account email address.

I totally agree there. Even ebay sellers with hotmail, yahoo, and gmail cause me to lift an eyebrow. If you want to hire writers, I can tell you my wife is a writer and won't answer any freelance ad that is connected to a free account. Many writers are like that, too.

I would definitely say that Gmail is far better than MSN. I have numerous problems with MSN, from mail not being there any more to not being able to log in at all. MSN seems to have multiple errors and problems. True, occassionally Gmail will be unavailable for a short period of time, but it's always back up and running quickly.

Another fact with MSN/Hotmail is that they pretend you login on a daily basis or they close your account in... 30 days? not sure but I've have to reactivate mine over and over since the space they offer is not seriour for a real email management, just for messenger login.

I fould Walla.com being a decent service with 3GB but it seems that they are blocking senders at they sole discretion, whether spammers or not.

Gmail is slow due to the many "garments" that they try to put altogether.

If you want to email someone in a rush, what for you need to wait for RSS, chat, labels, etc. etc. etc., but good storage quota and spam filter.

Yahoo will close your account also I believe if you don't log in every 60 days. I have multiple accounts but I haven't been shut out of there yet.

I left Hotmail a long time ago and use Yahoo with different accounts to break up my mail into catagories. It works well.

Is this info included in their ToS or something?
Google announced that mail is scanned to attach ads that are relevant.
