Default Dealing with email spamming on reseller accounts

One of my weak points is dealing with email - it's a continual nightmare of having someone sign up, only to set up an email spamming operation.

What can resellers actually do to help deal with the issue, and prevent their entire reseller account from being suspended?

Or is this an area where the sys admin has to be proactive first?

Yes I definately feel that this an area where you need to be proactive, I'm not a big fan of automatic set-up even though most customers are but I think taking a little time to check out the customer first pays dividends in the long run.

I also feel it is important to visit your clients sites regularly to check on what they are doing with the webspace.
