Look for someone who appears to care, so many providers these days (in my personal opinion) just seem to want to get the cash and not be concerned with what happens to the customer.

Reviews seem of very little value as those with good experience tend to keep quiet and get on with running their business, those who are vocal seem to be those who've bought an unlimited everything package for $1 and then wonder why they can't run their business on it.

Look for someone who can offer you server space in the same country as the bulk of your customers as this will most probably help them with SEO.

I could go on for hours, but I'll leave room for others to add their 2p's worth.

Always go with a company that is there. When I say that I mean make sure you can contact them. You always want to know that you can communicate with someone other than their email box.

You need to check the quality of Technical support offered by the Hosting provider. If you become a Reseller, will the hosting provider provide support to your customers. Is support 24X7 and what is the medium through which support is provided. You also need to check the Server uptime that is offered.
