Default Chargebacks

Pretty much a nightmare to deal with, but it's an inevitable risk when you take on clients in any industry with online payment processing.

I've kept my own hosting on an exclusive basis before now, so I know exactly who I'm hosting.

However, as I open out to mass markets, I'm keen to find out more about the risks - ie, possible chargeback rates, and how best to reduce the risk of a chargeback.

To be honest, I'm not sure of the best way to avoid chargebacks as even with faultless service some will try to do it.

The other biggie for me is clients who abuse money back guarantees to get a month of free hosting.

There is no protection against chargebacks for internet services. It's a hazard you have to live with but can reduce if you aim at the right marketplace.
