Blogs over saturated?

I have decided to revisit this topic due to some changes my life has experienced. I decided to make a little money using my blog in the end of last year, but the resulting backbiting of other bloggers was quite a bit to tolerate. Some places like payperpost have found a way to pit some bloggers against each other, and the addition of so many ads have made reading blogs no longer as interesting for me.

The problem I find is many people have nothing to say. It's like reading a 5 year old's dairy.
