Beware Of Lunar Pages

Lunarpages Lured Me In With False Advertising About Free Transfer From Another Host, Took My Money, And Then Deserted Me. They Left My Website Offline For 4 Days And My Outlook Mail Totally Disabled. Essentially, They Put Me Out Of Business. Finally, I Managed To Get My Own Website Published Without Their Help. Now My Website Has Been Offline With No Mail For 2 Consecutive Days, While Lunarpages Closes Their Support Department At Night. This Leaves Their Customers With No Website, And No Remedy. Avoid Lunarpages At All Costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about some facts like your web site, what package you bought, what your reasoning was etc...

If your business was worth that much to you, why did you go with a cheap host ? Surely if you could go out of business with a few days dowtime, then a lot more thought and planning would have been a good idea?

If you care to check, you'll find that I'm a moderator and was asking for further detail. You have a whole string of issues, but no fact. If there is an issue with your host, then please share your experience, but do so with facts such as times on ticket responses and so on.

If I only moderated this forum for revenue generation, then I'd be in the red!

Perhaps other reading this thread will see your error and put more time into researching

Lunar Pages is not as cheap in comparison with many other hosting services given more for the same price, including full support.

However I should agree that further explanation of the facts allow people to make a fair decision.

You can't go out there saying avoid this or that without giving boths sides full version.

I do want more details considering that lunarpages was my no1 choice due to high recommendations from 2 users I know, one being a busienss owner. Please share details since I am planning on going live during the firs couple of weeks of January!

I agree with Monaghan - there are only vague claims here.

I've seen plenty of genuine complaints on WebHostingTalk and they usually involve specifics. There are none here.

That means you're going to need to justify your complaints, rather than vague comments about Lunarpages "killing your business", and behaviour that is rude and insulting.

Especially When You Can't Even Format Text Properly.

There is another fact: I remember Lunar Pages online since my very first time online.

It was about 8 years ago, when their service was free, so if they were ruining people the business would not succeeded.
