Best Blogging Software
Does anyone over here have experience with all the existing blogging softwares? I have used Blogger, Beta blogger and Wordpress. I guess typepad, movable type, greymatter, 20six uk, etc etc are few of them. Has any one ever tried such a wide range of various blogging softwares?
Even though I have tried just two (Blogger & WP), I feel WP to be a lot better.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I have too many sites that it is impossible focus my mind on blogging, however I have tried Blogger and some other free blog services, finding as main drawback the unavailability of accessing your ftp space.
Installed onto my webspace a number of software such as Word Press and Pivot, but once again too many features and not time for learning how to take advantage on them.
I ended up with an easy to use blog, based on flat text database and it works for me, not much time to invest setting up functions and ability to create static web pages. Simple PHP Blog - Project Homepage

Re: Best Blogging Software
IMO Wordpress is easily the best blogging platform - certainly from experience of MovableType, b2evolution and Wordpress. Just no comparison.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I enjoyed Blogger, but I confess that I haven't tried many other formats - after I tried Blogger I was happy to stay. It's very customizable.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I used Blogger first, but decided I'd rather host my own, so I switched to Wordpress. I've been very happy with it!

Re: Best Blogging Software
Wordpress seems to be extremely user friendly. And with so many people using it, it does seem to be a universal choice.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I use Blogger, but I do agree that Wordpress is probably the easiest one to use and learn.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I dunno. I have no problem changing it. I think is cool to have the original layouts and then change them around. Gives me a starting point.

Re: Best Blogging Software
Blogger is one of the best and widely used blogging systems to use. They seem to have the most features and reliability.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I am using the free Blogger services and my options are limited.
I am still starting on my Wordpress blog so I can't talk much about it now.
I've tried free blogging services from other sites but I found Blogger better.

Re: Best Blogging Software
Wordpress is free and is normally provided by your web host. The good thing about Wordpress is that there are so many options which you can add so in fact Wordpress is really flexible. If you play around with Wordpress you can even turn it into a regular CMS.

Re: Best Blogging Software
I agree that wordpress is the standard that most bloggers are using these days, especially when hosting your blog yourself.
