Are flash site on the decline?

Flash is not favored by SEO standards and I am seeing less and less of them.

No reason not to use flash for SEO reasons, however you should still feed the spiders with some good text content.

Personally I hate all this fancy animated cr*p but I guess others must like it.

I think flash is on the decline. Out biggest biz used to be those sites; a lot of time and energy goes into them. Now you can find bid sites where someone will throw one out for a hundred bucks or less. Not worth it for the designer.

Flash used to be time consuming for a viewer for it to load, but now they are a lot more user friendly.

Little flash here and there is the way to go. Full sites in flash are retarded

They have there place And some do well.
