If you use PPC, such as AdWords, and you want to get your ads noticed more, be different.
A friend sells security products online, and long ago found out that he increased his clickthrough rate by 30%, by trying to be different - ie, instead of the PPC ad title being "Buy home CCTV cameras", he used a phrase like "Catch cheats and thieves".
I've also noticed on this site that I don't normally take notice of the AdSense ads near the top. After all, when I click on the dedicated servers page, I expect to see ads for dedicated servers there.
So the one ad that refuses to do this keeps getting my attention with "Secure nuclear bunker", before introducing it's manager server options.
Do better on AdWords - think different.
