Interesting read. I wonder if the legal concerns are shared with the web host. Meaning do we need to have our site approved by law and also the conditions of the webhost? If its not up to standard who is responsible by law or do we both share the blame?

We allow LEGAL adult content - Infact we will have a branded "adult" hosting service ready very soon (the old one is down for a redesign).
Obviously there must be a lot of trust between client and webhost but as long as the host re-acts quick enough to TOS violations then the risk is minimal to the host.

The problem with adult content (and some non adult content) is the LOCAL laws of the viewer - I suppose that is why the Daily Sport doesn't have a huge following in the Middle East...

Our poilcy is the same, i mean we dont go looking at all sites online to see if they are legal, only if asked to investigate a specific site.

IMHO adult sites should stay away from shared web hosting due to them (if popular) sucking all the resources.
