Attenda goes for third datacentre
Attenda Limited announced that it will open a third UK Data Centre today, to meet the increasing client demand that continues to grow despite the effects that other businesses have felt due to the recession.
During the second quarter of this year, Attenda already showed that the company was performing better than its counterparts in the market with an organic CAG that was over 20% and £62 million in backlog which is far ahead of what was anticipated.
Thus the need for the third data centre was great.
The new data centre will be located in Slough with the Attenda RTI Cloud Computing platform in place which controls the way that clients’ applications are contracted, managed, and deployed.
Mark Fowle, Attenda’s CEO stated that the company has won many important new client contracts including some from the UK Department for International Development, Eastern & Coastal Kent, and others in the private sector.
He also stated that the company has continued to see growth in the contracts of existing clients.
Attenda is not the only company experiencing growth in the cloud platform sector. as IDC, which provides global IT cloud services, is expected to grow to three times its current size in the coming IT infrastructure shifts.
