Kentico working with Intermedia’s hosting

Kentico, a content management vendor, and Intermedia, a software service provider, have partnered up to give customers access to a turnkey solution to the CMS platform developed by Kentico.

The solution allows CMS platform users to run the platform on Intermedia’s hosting platform without previous technical experience.

Kentico stated on Monday that the new partnership will help given small business owners a viable solution to hiring aid for web design since they can now build their own content driven websites fairly efficiently and host them on the Intermedia’s platform with the additional backup of a 24/7 technical support line.

Peter Passinger, the partner manager of Kentico, stated that the company is driven to create solutions that allow for customised web content management.

However, as it does not have extensive hosting experience to offer to customers it can now offer the services of its new partner so that clients get the best of both website development and hosting solutions in a one stop contract.

Kentico SMS is currently used in 74 countries for over 2,000 websites that range from online stores to community sites.

The platform is able to support multiple languages, search engine optimisation, full text search, online forms, workflow options, forums, polls, blogs, image galleries, content editing, and media libraries.

The Kentico platform is available for free trial in multiple formats for those who do not want to take a leap and make the $749 investment.

Intermedia concentrates its hosting solutions on providing for email, collaboration, and instant messaging which ties up the few loose ends that the Kentico SMS platform is not able to provide nicely for consumers.
