New deal and new datacenter for Digital Reality
The world’s largest datacenter, Digital Reality Trust, has just announced the completion of a lease agreement for ServeCentric in Ireland to use its Turn-Key Datacentre.
This will allow ServeCentric to make use of the Digital Reality Trust property in Dublin thus allowing for its expansion.
According to the Vice President of Digital Reality Trust, the new partnership and leasing space will allow for ServeCentric to meet its customer’s needs in a much faster fashion and with the aid of Turn-Key technologies allow ServeCentric to launch its datacentre in a much timelier manner.
The lease agreement comes alongside news that Digital Reality Trust is continuing to expand its office space with its new purchase of 34.2 acres of land in Ashburn, Virginia (US) for further expansion.
CEO of Digital Reality Trust, Michael Foust, said that the new purchase will allow the company to expand its Virginia location by over 400,000 square feet allowing the company to create a powerful datacentre to meet the current operating economy of data.
This area will be able to host four 2250kW turn-key data pods to lease to future business partners in need of datacentre space.
