Astute Networks, Inc received a tremendous boost to its standing as a provider of bladed storage solutions today.

At a major press conference in San Diego, Robert Harling, vice president of operations at Astute, announced that an independent auditor, BSI Management Systems America, Inc., was awarding Astute with an official Certificate of Registration for its work in matching the standards of international agencies that supervise quality management standards.

This certification states that Astute’s Quality Management System meets all requirements of the internationally recognized measurements and requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), based in Geneva, Switzerland.

The ISO brings together a network of national standards organizations from almost 150 countries functioning in partnerships with global institutes, governments and industry and purchaser representatives.

This international network manages the use of several regulations known as standards, including the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards of quality and environmental management.

BSI examined Astute’s quality management program for its compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard, and this certification was Astute’s reward for ensuring the highest possible quality in business-to-business dealings.

Astute had to prove that it focuses on meeting customer quality requirements, regulatory requirements, and customer satisfaction procedures to earn the registration.

According to Harling, Astute Networks intense focus on quality standards has been validated by receiving this important certification.”

Harling also explained of the benefits that the customers would receive including additional assurances and the highest levels of standards and excellence.
