VeriSign Offers New Promotion

Customer services from VeriSign has a new promotion for invited organizations ito sign up for the VeriSign Identity Protection Network in order to increase the security of website customers who are using the Internet.

Starting this week to the end of September, the VIP Quick Start Program is hoping to give more than four thousand credientials to various company within the VIP network.

The VIP service will allow company to authenticate using at least two factors. This makes it possible for sites hosted with Verisign to utilize a wide variety of credientials such as mobile phones.

According to company spokesperson Fran Rosch, it is believed that the use of a two-factor authentication process will help improve how Verisign is able to provide a more secure process, and will most like speed up the authentication process also.
