Parallels Offers APS

The internet hosting provider Parallels released information today that it will be providing the ability for service providers to become APS certified. APS stands for the Application Packaging Standard certification service and is adminstered by Tier 1 Research.

Based on achieving this certification, service providers will be acknowledged as following APS compliance, with either an APS Gold or Silver designation. The certification recognizes SaaS application providers using this designation.

According to Serguei Beloussov, CEO, “Parallels wants service providers to be able to easily deliver a broad range of software applications to their customers with the assurance that those applications will be up-to-date, integrate and perform as expected. The APS Certification Service offers service providers an opportunity to differentiate themselves in the market as they strive to meet the growing needs of their customers,” he stated.
