Layered Tech Selects CFO

Utility hosting services provider Layered Technologies announced on Monday it has named John Faulkner the company’s chief financial officer.

The announcement comes after last month’s appointment of John Pozadzides to the position of chief marketing officer. Faulkner will report to company CEO Jack Finlayson, where he will supervise all financial planning, management and reporting.

He has over 20 years of financial services practice, most lately serving as VP of finance at Level(3). He has also formerly served in financial roles at Broadwing, Altra Energy Technologies and Dell.

Finlayson, CEO of Layered Technologies stated “We are pleased to add an executive with Mr. Faulkner’s record of success. John’s talents and industry experience are a great addition to our team as we continue to grow the business. We also appreciate Bill Passer’s numerous contributions over the years as SVP of finance, and look forward to his continuation as he takes on responsibility for all M&A activity going forward.”

Supported by a new private backing of $11 million, which the company announced last week, Layered Tech is capable to develop its present services, develop new products and accelerate sales and marketing efforts within new enterprise markets.
