Moniker Hosts Casino Domain Auction

Domain asset management provider Moniker, an Oversee.net business, announced on Wednesday it is hosting its second online auction of premium gaming and casino industry domain names at Casino Affiliate Convention Amsterdam.

The auction will commence April 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, Holland, and persist into the week following CAC Amsterdam.

Amongst the domain names that will be up for auction are CasinoGambling.org, CheapSlots.com, GamblingEssential.com, GamingLink.com, HoldEm.com, Jackpot.info, Poker.com (xn--poer-h0a.com), Poker.org, Scores.tv, ServiceCharge.com and Winnings.com.

In excess of 60 domains have been sold at comparable domain auctions held at past CAC events, including Scores.com fetching $1.18 million in 2007. The deal ranks as one of the year’s top five domain sales, according to DNJournal.

SnapNames Live, an integrated live and online auction platform developed by SnapNames, will run online bidding at CAC Amsterdam. The SnapNames Live system allows the auctioneer to concurrently distinguish bidders in the room and online using a video stream of the auction.
