Data center operator and colocation provider FORTRUST announced it has made two key hires to maintain the company’s growth and increasing demand for its services.
FORTRUST has named Tim Pierce the company’s business development manager. In this position, he will assist customers in creating scalable and dependable solutions for their vital services and applications. Pierce has had considerable experience in engineering, product development, managed services and solution architecture, having worked at Raytheon on key federal government programs building weather satellite systems.
The company has in addition hired Michael Piers as a critical systems manager within the facilities group. He will supervise testing, maintenance and development for the facility’s systems, in addition to all facets of physical security and facilities management, and support customer provisioning and installation. Piers formerly served as manager at another Denver data center.
Pierece and Piers will sustain the FORTRUST major advancement in the past year which includes the latest 20,000 foot raised-floor expansion of the facility. The data center operator currently manages more than 224,000 square feet of space within its facility.
