Canadian telecommunications provider EastLink announced on Monday it has launched EastLink Web Hosting, a staged collection of Web hosting plans that vary from basic domain registration with forwarding and email to e-commerce enabled plans.

Jeff Gillham, EastLink’s director of business sales stated “We are continually expanding our business services to meet the needs of all of our business customers, large or small. The Web hosting packages will enable customers to manage their own websites and email with practical, user-friendly tools and applications.”

EastLink says it is the fifth principal cable company in Canada and was the first to present customers with local telephone services over a digital network. With added Web hosting services, Eastlink will offer business customers the apparatus to create and manage their own websites in addition to accessing and managing their email.

The Web hosting plans allow businesses to select the correct package for them. The Basic plan is $9.95 per month and is designed for a business looking to create a simple website. The Platinum Plus plan is $179.95 per month and is designed for a business looking for amplified storage and many email accounts for a high traffic e-commerce capable site.
