UK Web hosting provider 34SP announced on Wednesday that it has launched a collection of automated script installers that leverage its UK hosting plans and are intended to ease the process of deploying Web 2.0 applications.

Daniel Foster, 34SP’s technical director stated “As Web 2.0 marches on, so does the complexity of hosted applications. Blog hosting, gallery hosting and forum hosting are only a small handful of the specialized hosting needs for the modern website. The last couple of years have seen a massive growth in the sophistication of websites. There are plenty of applications out there, and most of them aren’t fun to deal with. We aim to take as much pain out of the process as possible. We want our customers running their sites, not pulling their hair out in frustrating installation procedures.”

The company offers installers for well-liked scripts including WordPress, phpBB 2 and 3, Joomla and OScommerce, as well less acknowledged scripts like MediaWiki, DadaMail and Coppermine. Currently, 34SP supports in excess of 20 scripts and says it is constantly adding to the list.

34SP’s budget hosting starts from $3 per month and includes a free domain, free access to script installation and 24 X 7 support.
