IBM Houses CDC Games

China based online game developer CDC Games announced on Wednesday it will host its US online infrastructure on IBM servers housed within services operated by Terremark Worldwide, it announced on Wednesday.
This amalgamation of CDC Games’ platform and IBM’s hardware simultaneously with Terremark’s facilities and enormous connectivity will present CDC with the ultimate managed infrastructure. Consequently, CDC gamers will have a high performance multiplayer online gaming experience.
CDC Games provides online and mobile games to over 120 million registered users. As the company inflates its existence in the United States, IBM System x servers will facilitate CDC to supply end users with a vigorous gaming experience whilst reducing costs and power necessities.
Jeff Longoria, president of CDC Games International, a unit of CDC Games stated “IBM offers us very reliable, competitively-priced products built on innovative energy-saving green initiatives that will help us become one of the premier publishers of online games in North America. With Terremark’s advanced network topology, our gaming infrastructure will be located at the core of the North American Internet, which will help to deliver the best user experience for our gamers.”
Last month, Latin Interactive Network announced it has chosen Terremark to host its new Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming platform.
