Twitter Chooses NTT America

February 19, 2008 · Print This Article

The famous social network Twitter has signed a deal with NTT America to carrying out hosting for the social messaging it provides. NTT America has at its disposal, SAS 70 Tyle II data centers that can be used to keep Twitter up and running.

According to Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, “NTT Communications’ history of reliability and its global perspective were key factors in our decision to select NTTA as our hosting services provider. As Twitter grows and more people around the world depend on our infrastructure, we feel an increased responsibility to make the right decisions for the people who have helped make us a success as well as those who have yet to discover our service.”

Both Twitter and NTT America are excited by this new joint venture.
