Managed hosting provider Logicworks has allied with the MySQL Authorized Hosting Partner Program, at the Platinum Level, it announced on Tuesday.

Logicworks, as the primary endorsed partner of the program in the US, will offer customers a managed MySQL Enterprise database to deliver mission-critical applications. This accompanies Logicworks’ managed database services, which comprises a collection of services intended to decrease database downtime under any condition, as well as ensuring that no transactions are misplaced throughout recovery.

The new program will permit Logicworks to offer customers MySQL-certified services together with the capability to run the MySQL Enterprise Server, while Logicworks leverages the MySQL’s Enterprise Monitor and production technical support. Using the collection of MySQL Enterprise’s database and monitoring software together with production support, Logicworks will be capable of delivering extremely available, scalable and high performance data management.

Carter Burden, CEO of Logicworks stated “With the delivery of a formalized MySQL Hosting Partner Program, MySQL continues to expand the reach of its open source database software beyond the enterprise by offering this cost-effective solution,”.

Logicworks announced in December that it had joined the VMware Service Provider Program.
