Dedicated hosting provider The Planet has signed a new partnership for its Microsoft SBS Partner Program with managed services provider TechAssist, it announced on Wednesday.
TechAssist supplies hosted managed services to its foundation customers that encompass national associations, law firms, financial services companies and medical offices.
Managed services media channel MSP.Net sited TechAssist in its national list of the Top 100 Managed Services Providers, in rankings released this week.
The company’s “True Technology Management” services present comprehensive enterprise-class IT solutions for SMBs that were formerly offered only in outsized companies with large staff numbers. TechAssist says it unites the monitoring and remote support of a managed services provider, the onsite support of an IT outsourcing company and the strategic guidance of a technology consultant in a distinct and scalable fixed-price plan.
James P. Treuting, VP of sales and operations with The Planet stated “Our Microsoft SBS partner program was designed for companies like TechAssist that clearly understand the SMB market and the value of the managed services model. TechAssist provides its clients with services previously available only in enterprise-size organizations with big IT teams. Nick Vossburg and his team retain management and deliver value-added services to their clients, backed by our world-class network, data centers and support.”
The Planet named Scott King senior director of data center operations, it announced yesterday.
