Collexis Software Hosted by Peak 10

Providing the Collexis with a fully managed hosted environment out of its second world-class data center in Charlotte, North Carolina Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with search and knowledge discovery software provider Collexis.

Utilised by many worldwide organizations, Collexis develops applications ranging from search tools for websites to sophisticated discovery applications. These applications permit users to identify and search for documents, experts, trends, or new discoveries.

Collexis recently launched the scientific social network community BioMedExperts in a collaboration with Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences and Peak 10. The site enables life sciences professionals to interact, share data, work together more efficiently and conduct thorough research across thousands of sources.

Pat O’Brien, VP and GM of Peak 10 Charlotte stated “We are excited about working with Collexis. We make it a point to provide specialized managed services solutions to meet the various needs of our clients. We worked closely with Collexis to create this managed services environment, along with their technology partner Dell, whose Healthcare and Life Sciences division was instrumental in its design, construction and deployment.”

Last week, Peak 10 announced it will host a live Web cast entitled, Strategies for Leveraging Managed Hosting in Your IT Environment, at 11:30 a.m. EST on February 20.
