In order to automate implementation of Web analytics service, Google Analytics, for its Web hosting customers, UK domain registrar 123-reg has partnered with Clickstream Technologies, it announced on Thursday.

123-reg is utilising Clickstream Technologies’ Datasherpa solutions platform, which automatically adds tracking tags to Web pages, providing users with all the advantages of Google Analytics without the cost or burden of manually implementing tagging on each page.

Google Analytics allows users to optimize a website, amplify conversions and ROI and improve a site’s presentation and performance. Automated tagging for Google Analytics is presently exclusive to UK 123-reg customers. It provides users with access to website visitor statistics from 75p per month.

Mark Beyer, sales and marketing director at 123-reg stated “Clickstream’s exciting tool opens up Google Analytics to people who don’t necessarily have the technical know-how to do the manual implementation normally required and at a fraction of the usual cost. This system is perfect for online businesses who want to analyse their website’s visitors and increase conversions without vast time or technical investment.”

123-Reg announced earlier this week it is offering e-commerce solutions from £8.99 per month.
