Webmail Rebranded as Mailtrust

A division of Rackspace Managed Hosting, email hosting provider Webmail.us has changed its corporate brand to Mailtrust, it announced on Tuesday.

As a direct outcome of the feedback it had been getting from its customer base, which indicated that the most important reason they were choosing Mailtrust as their email hosting provider was because they found the company trustworthy the company says it switched its name to Mailtrust

Pat Matthews, president of Mailtrust stated “Because email is so mission-critical, trust is crucial in choosing your email provider. We wanted a name that would reflect that. The new name aligns our corporate mission with our reputation as a trusted email provider. We understand how serious it is to give control of such a mission-critical operation such as email to an outside vendor. Mailtrust indicates our dedication to becoming the world’s most trusted provider of business email hosting.”

Mailtrust also announced the addition of managed Microsoft Exchange hosting to its product portfolio to provide customers a selection between platforms depending on their magnitude, functionality and budgetary needs.

Mailtrust recently launched Outlook-Sync, a service that allows business email users to synchronize Web-based shared calendars, contacts and task lists with Microsoft Outlook.
