Hosted Exchange 07 Offered by UK Online

The launch of hosted Exchange 2007 offered by broadband services provider UK Online was announced on Friday.

UK Online’s flagship broadband service, Premier, will bundle the service offering small businesses the equivalent email capability as large enterprises. Priced at £24.99 per month, a Web hosting package will also be built-in to the service and is anticipated to launch in March.

Chris Stening, UK Online’s managing director stated “Many small businesses use consumer grade POP3 email which limits how and when they can access their email. More importantly, they run the risk of losing all their emails and contacts if their PC or laptop hardware fails. Microsoft Hosted Exchange is the best business-strength email there is. In today’s business environment, a business quality, easy to manage professional email service is key.”

UK managed hosting provider iomart has signed a three-year contract with UK Online to handle all aspects of its customer Web platform service, it announced earlier this week.
