Server Sale from The Planet

In a promotion lasting until January 28, Dedicated hosting provider The Planet has launched Super Server Sale, a pricing promotion on select servers from its offerings, it announced on Tuesday.

The Super Server Sale is offering the Celeron 2.4 is available at $92 per month, a cost reduction of 16 percent. In addition the company is offering the Dual Xeon 2.4 priced at $143 per month which represents a reduction of 32 percent and the offer is valid while limited supplies last.

Urvish Vashi, director of product management with The Planet stated “To keep pace with the changing needs of our customers, we’re offering temporary special pricing on two of our most popular servers. For customers looking for a solid price/performance equation, these servers clearly meet that requirement.”

Allied to this, Stan Barber, the Planet’s vice president of network operations, delivered an address on Monday at the 30th annual Pacific Telecommunications Council “Telecom with Vision” tradeshow.
