Chicago Facility Opened by US Signal
Telecommunications infrastructure provider US Signal has supplemented a new data center to its Chicago, Illinois network, it announced on Tuesday, located at 1905 W Lunt Avenue, Elk Grove Village.
The company says that customers can profit by lowering network overheads to their sites throughout the Great Lakes region through access to its dense wave division multiplexing optical backbone at this new facility.
Steve Oyer, VP of sales for US Signal stated “Providing services in carrier-neutral data centers is an important component of US Signal’s strategy in the Chicago market. This location will be critical in enabling more customers to access the US Signal portfolio of Internet, private line, wavelength and MPLS VPN services at a low cost.”
US Signal also lately finished expansion in the Northwest and Western suburbs of Chicago to compliment its existing downtown loop and other close points of presence by establishing services in Oak Brook, Newcastle, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg.
